New Selle Italia SLR 3D Carbon : The Evolution of Legend
The SLR 3D Carbon reinvents comfort and performance by building on the legendary heritage of the SLR model, while incorporating the most advanced 3D printing technology. It is the ultimate saddle for road cyclists and competitors seeking unmatched lightness and support.
3D Printing Technology: Comfort and Efficiency
The cover of the SLR Boost 3D is created via an exclusive lattice pattern, printed with Carbon DLS™ (Digital Light Synthesis) technology. This structure offers major advantages:
Differentiated Cushioning Zones: The honeycomb structure exhibits variable stiffness for progressive shock absorption over the entire surface. It offers comfort where you need it most, while retaining the necessary stiffness for power transfer.
Unmatched SLR Shape: It retains the iconic compact and short (Boost) shape of the SLR, ideal for cyclists seeking an aggressive and stable position.
High-End Design
Record Lightness: With a weight of only 137g (size S3), it is one of the lightest 3D printed saddles on the market, a crucial asset for performance.
Hi-Tech Carbon Rails: The carbon rails (Ø7x9 mm) are designed with a new layup to maximize lightness without compromising strength. They are also 10 mm longer than traditional rails for an extended adjustment range.
Superflow Technology: The wide anatomical Superflow cutout drastically reduces prolonged pressure in the perineal area, guaranteeing maximum comfort even during very long rides.
Neutral Shape (IDmatch S3 / L3): The "Neutral" anatomical shape adapts perfectly both to cyclists with anterior pelvic rotation (dynamic) and to those with posterior rotation (static).

Technologies
3D Printing: The 3D printed cover allows for very precise adaptation of the padding according to pressure zones, thus ensuring excellent comfort and perfect support
Advanced Carbon Rails: Ø7 mmx9 mm rails manufactured with a brand new carbon fiber layup offering even greater lightness, strength, and excellent vibration absorption
Superflow: Superflow technology drastically reduces pressure in the perineal area.
Neutral: Neutral anatomical shape suitable for cyclists with both anterior or posterior pelvic rotation
Information on size selection
Meaning of the letter
S or L indicate the width of the saddle, and the choice between the two is guided by the intertrochanteric distance (between the ischial bones of the pelvis).
Size S: narrow distance, for people with a value less than 120 mm
Size L: wide distance, for people with a value greater than 120 mm
If you have already identified the width of your sit bones during a medical visit or a bike fitting, you will easily find the saddle width that suits you best. If you have not taken any measurements, we recommend contacting one of the idmatch centers.
Meaning of the number
The numbers 1, 2, and 3 indicate the presence or absence of a hole in the saddle, and the choice is guided by pelvic rotation/body flexibility. For those with excellent pelvic rotation, size 3 is recommended, while for others, it reduces to size 1.
1: indicates a closed saddle, meaning the absence of a hole.
2: indicates the presence of a smaller hole called "Flow".
3: indicates the presence of the so-called "Superflow" hole (the widest).
"Stiffer" people can use size 1, but also 2 and 3. Conversely, it is not recommended for a flexible person to use a saddle without a hole.
