The brand new Selle Italia SLR Carbon takes performance and lightweight design to new heights. Retaining the iconic silhouette that made the SLR range a success, this version features an entirely redesigned structural layout. Using a new carbon layup method, Selle Italia has created thinner yet extremely stiff rails, offering an exceptional weight-to-strength ratio without compromise.
A true piece of craftsmanship, the SLR Carbon stands out with its handmade padding, strategically applied only where support is needed to optimise comfort during long breakaways. With a reworked rail angle for better vibration absorption and a 4mm increased "stack" to facilitate positioning, it establishes itself as the ultimate road saddle for demanding cyclists.

Technologies
Advanced Carbon Rails: A new carbon layup process to guarantee lightness and resistance. The optimised rail angle provides better absorption of shocks and mechanical stress.
Superflow: Superflow technology drastically reduces pressure in the perineal area for lasting comfort.
Carbon Powered: Shell made from carbon composite and high-quality nylon polymer for maximum rigidity.
Neutral Shape: Anatomical shape providing appropriate support for both cyclists with anterior pelvic rotation (dynamic) and those with posterior rotation (static).
Handmade Lightweight Pad: Premium artisanal cover combining style and support, with targeted padding to minimise unnecessary weight.
Size Selection Information
Meaning of the Letter
S or L indicate the width of the saddle. This choice is guided by your intertrochanteric distance (sit bone width).
Size S: narrow distance (less than 120 mm).
Size L: wide distance (greater than 120 mm).
If in doubt about your measurements, we recommend visiting a specialised idmatch centre. - NB: You can also identify your sit bone width during a medical check-up or a professional bike fit.
Meaning of the Number
The numbers 1, 2, and 3 indicate the presence or absence of a central cut-out, guided by your pelvic rotation/body flexibility. For those with excellent pelvic rotation, size 3 is recommended, while for others, it reduces to size 1. - 1: Solid saddle (no hole) - 2: Medium-sized hole (Flow) - 3: Large hole (Superflow), recommended for cyclists with significant pelvic rotation
Less flexible riders can use size 1, 2, or 3. Conversely, it is not recommended for a flexible person to use a saddle without a cut-out.
