Shotgun Harness seat and saddle for child Pro Evo 2026

Most child bike seats are not designed for modern MTBs, the Shotgun Pro EVO changes all that.

The Shotgun Pro Evo is the very first 2-in-1 child seat specially designed for MTBs. It switches from a harness seat mode for 9 to 24 months old to the Pro saddle mode for 2 to 5 years old. One seat, two configurations, four years of adventure.

Features

• Designed for children from 9 months to 5 years old, up to 27 kg.
• 2-in-1 convertible: it starts as a harness seat and transforms into a Pro saddle as soon as your child is ready
• In harness seat configuration, it is suitable for children from 9 months to 2 years (9 to 15 kg). We recommend that your child can support the weight of their own head. For children under one year, consult a pediatrician before use.
• In saddle configuration it is suitable for children from 2 to 5 years (12 to 27 kg). Before using the Pro saddle, we recommend that your child can sit up unaided, follow simple instructions, and stay awake for the entire ride.
• No frame contact: Mounts on the headset and seat post, meaning no contact with the frame.
• Quick release mounting: Mount and dismount in just 15 seconds (after initial installation). Two headset spacers included for mounting on two different bikes.
• E-MTB compatible: Suitable for regular MTBs and e-MTBs with wide down tubes.
• Your child will love riding in front of your bike with their Shotgun 2.0 handlebar. With its secure allen key attachment and 19 mm custom grips, the Shotgun 2.0 handlebar is a great complement to the Shotgun saddle.
• Fully adjustable: Precisely adjust the position and angle of the saddle to fit your bike. You’ll get more cockpit space, better steering angle, an ideal riding position for your child, and no parts hitting your fork or frame.
• Category-leading safety: The harness seat is equipped with a secure Fidlock® child buckle, a 5-point harness, and a sternum strap. Both seat configurations meet the safety standards appropriate for their age group, so you can ride with peace of mind from the early years to off-road adventures.

Compatibility

• The Shotgun Pro Evo saddle fits all modern mountain bikes (including e-MTBs) with a standard 1"1/8 steerer and at least 10 mm of space below the stem
• The Shotgun Pro 2.0 handlebar fits 31.8 mm and 35 mm bars, and stems up to 60 mm wide, with full rubber protection on the mounts. Fits flat or riser bars.
