The FOX 36 Float SL redefines trail fork standards by combining the stiffness of a 36 mm chassis with the lightweight performance of a 34. Designed for demanding riders, it offers 130 to 140 mm of travel, ideal for technical trails.
Its completely redesigned chassis includes lightweight magnesium lowers and an optimized crown, offering 20% more torsional stiffness compared to the previous 34. The redesigned internal bushings reduce friction, and the air/oil bypass channels have been repositioned to improve lubrication and internal pressure management.
The FLOAT EVOL air spring delivers excellent progressiveness and reduced friction thanks to its enlarged negative chamber.
On the hydraulic side, it features the GRIP X cartridge: a lighter version (120 g less than the GRIP X2) but highly effective, with 3-way adjustability (rebound, low-speed compression, high-speed compression) and a quick-access FIRM position for maximized pedaling efficiency.
