Built around a 25 mm wide rim, the Crossmax Carbon SL Ultimate 29 is engineered for modern cross-country, both in racing and on demanding trails. The full carbon rims ensure lightning-fast accelerations and help you tackle technical climbs, with just the right amount of vertical compliance to handle every section with precision and control. The Adaptive Layup technology used in the rim’s construction makes it stronger in key areas while optimizing weight everywhere else.

The 25 mm internal width allows perfect compatibility with all modern cross-country tires. The wheel features 24 straight-pull, double-butted spokes that provide the perfect balance between lateral stiffness and vertical compliance. Mavic has designed an even lighter Infinity hub. Combined with the wheel’s stiffness and optimized lacing pattern, it maximizes pedaling efficiency for optimal power transfer.

The Instant Drive 360 freewheel body, with its dual ratchet system, ensures fast engagement — allowing you to sprint and accelerate more effectively out of corners! The rear hub is compatible with HG9, Micro Spline, and SRAM XD freehub bodies. The Crossmax SL Carbon Ultimate 25 is available only in 29”, features 6-bolt disc mounts, and is compatible with 15x110 mm front and 12x148 mm rear Boost axles. The wheel comes with valves, spare spokes, and accessories.
