To achieve this, Fox redesigned the cartridge’s internal components: the piston rod increases from 8 to 10 mm, the base valve grows from 20 to 24 mm, and the shim stack has been upgraded from 7 to 23 shims in this new generation—offering greater custom tuning potential.
